Durant Nature Preserve
A mix of single track and wide trails, the park is a network of short segments that can be connected in a variety of combinations. Undulating terrain, but not too hilly. Good for short runs under an hour.
Why You Love This Trail: It’s a hidden gem in Raleigh. The trails are nice and well maintained and there are a variety of options. The lake is really nice to run around.

- I like riding my bike in the neighborhood and then hopping off for a quick trail Brick run.

The Greenway is my favorite place to run because…
- It is all dirt with tons of ups and downs and it’s all single track.
- It is away from cars, the hustle and bustle, and distractions.
- The trail options out there are endless… park at the main entrance on Falls of Neuse Rd, Raven Ridge Rd, or Possum Track Rd. Wherever you park, follow the white dot trail until you are tired, then just turn around.
